Young children between the ages of 2-5 years old learn about the world by interacting with the objects and people in their environment.
‘Dress up and dance’ provides an opportunity for young children to have fun exploring the props cupboard;
with costumes, musical instruments and other objects to hand, children can let their imagination lead the way as they learn how to have fun storytelling through dance. This class forms a good basis for an interest in ballet
to develop.
This class follows a syllabus developed by the Royal Academy of Dance and is designed to teach children the physical skills they need to be a dancer. The course has a strong emphasis on creativity to help them develop their imagination and this class can also trigger an interest in ballet.
